Job summary

Infinity Contractors is seeking a reliable Preventive Maintenance Mechanic for our Raleigh Division. You will perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and minor repairs to keep machinery safe and reliable.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, can work independently, and will follow established maintenance procedures while traveling to various sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of equipment operation.
• Ability to perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs.
• Ability to safely use common hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify issues.
• Accurate documentation of maintenance activities and findings.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Independent work capability with task prioritization.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment per schedules.
• Inspect equipment to identify wear, damage, leaks, and unusual noises.
• Lubricate, clean, adjust, and service equipment per schedules and specs.
• Replace worn components like filters, belts, seals.
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues and perform minor repairs.
• Report major issues or potential failures to supervisor.
• Maintain records of inspections, maintenance, repairs and parts used.
• Keep tools, parts, and work areas clean and safe.
