Job summary

Crane Services, Inc. (CSI) is seeking a detail-oriented Preventive Service Technician in Amarillo, TX. The role focuses on performing routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure safety, performance, and longevity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications a plus.
• 1+ years of experience in equipment maintenance, service, or a related field.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and technical documents
• Valid driver’s license
• Travel is required to job sites and crane locations
• Ability to be Federal Inspector and Brake Inspector qualified or have the ability to become certified upon hire

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment and systems (e.g., HVAC, differentials, air systems, etc.)
• Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and recommend repairs or replacements
• Document service work, inspections, and maintenance records accurately
• Follow all company safety protocols and industry best practices
• Communicate effectively about service results, equipment status, and recommendations
• Use tools, diagnostic equipment, and service software effectively
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality standards
• Work closely with service manager, service foreman, and teammates
• Ability to use technology, reports are completed on an iPad, computer for schematics
• Always participate in ongoing training, cross-training
• Assist others where needed, team player
