Job summary

A leading power systems services company in Los Angeles is seeking Field Techs (Power Systems Tech I-IV). Candidates will perform testing, maintenance, and inspection of electrical systems up to 500kV. 1-10 years of experience required depending on the level, with strong skills in safety, communication, and problem-solving. Full-time position with competitive pay ranging from $30 to $50 per hour, benefits provided, and potential for travel.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED and minimum 1 year of experience for Tech I.
• Minimum 2 years of experience for Tech II.
• Minimum 5 years of experience for Tech III.
• Associate degree or 5 years of experience for Tech IV.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Perform maintenance and testing on transformers and circuit breakers.
• Respond to customer emergencies in a timely manner.
• Ensure work complies with regulatory laws.

Skills

Knowledge of industry standards (NETA, NEC, OSHA, NFPA)

Problem-solving aptitude

Strong computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Office)

Good communication skills

Customer service skills

Education
