Job summary

Warren CAT in Midland, TX is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to perform diesel/gas engine work and service on rental equipment both in the field and in the shop. You will provide repair recommendations, complete PM services, and ensure documentation and quotes are accurate.

The role requires coordinating service schedules with customers, using diagnostic tools, and maintaining compliance with DOT and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of diesel- and gasoline-engine systems and components.
• Ability to perform PM services on a range of rental equipment.
• Capable of communicating with customers and scheduling service work.
• CDL within 60 days and clean driving record; must be 21+.
• Familiarity with databases and order systems.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned jobs to meet flat rate times and re-do metrics.
• Provide repair recommendations and perform minor service repairs in field and shop.
• Access work orders, parts orders, and related databases to complete jobs timely.
• Remove/install parts, disassemble/assemble components, test and adjust with minimal supervision.
• Use basic tools, diagnostic software, and rigging equipment.
• Provide accurate quotes and submit service reports & DOT logs.
