Job summary

Aggreko is seeking a Power or HVAC Technician 1 based in St. Louis, MO to perform maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, HVAC equipment and oil-free air compressors in field and shop settings.

You will travel daily in a company vehicle, work overtime and weekends as needed, and collaborate with others to install and operate equipment at customer sites. A HS diploma and 2–5 years of experience are required, with valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2–5 years of experience on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, inspections, maintenance and repairs.
• May be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card based on customer requirements.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or oil free air compressors at the shop or in the field.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations, and handle the repairs.
• Work out on your own or with another technician to set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites.
• Travel daily in your company vehicle and may work overtime or weekends; potential for travel.
