Job summary

Warren Equipment Company is seeking a Rental PM Field Tech I to perform high-quality repair service on a range of equipment, in the field and shop, to meet customer needs with timely and value-focused workmanship. The role requires knowledge of diesel or gas engines, electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems, plus ability to quote repairs and maintain detailed service reports.

Clean driving record and CDL or ability to obtain within 60 days are required, with up to 40% travel and

Qualifications

• Knowledge of diesel or gas engines, electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to perform PM services across rental equipment in field/shop.
• Ability to communicate with customers and coordinate service schedules.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned jobs to meet flat rate times and re-do metric.
• Provide repair recommendations and perform minor service repairs in field and shop.
• Access work orders, parts orders, JSA, DBS, SIMS, SIS Web, STW to complete jobs accurately.
• Remove/install parts, disassemble/assemble components, test and adjust with minimal supervision.
• Maintain knowledge of basic hand tools, diagnostic software, and cranes and rigging equipment.
• Provide accurate quotes and pricing estimates to customers.
• Submit accurate service reports and DOT logs.
