Job summary

Divcon in the United States seeks a Field PLC Engineer to develop, test, program, and support PLC-based controls for data centers and critical facilities. You will work hands-on with HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and facility systems, collaborating with senior engineers and field teams to ensure reliable automation.

Responsibilities include developing PLC programs, validating logic, supporting commissioning, and documenting changes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of PLC programming, controls engineering, or related automation experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 50-60%, including extended site assignments.
• Experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley Studio 5000 or similar PLC platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify PLC programs for HVAC, central plant, and facility systems.
• Configure PLC logic, I/O structures, alarms, and system parameters.
• Test PLC logic and validate system functionality prior to field deployment.
• Support field teams during start-up, troubleshooting, and validation.
• Document programming workflows and project configurations.
