Job summary

Overland Contracting Inc. is seeking a Piping Superintendent for a Simple Cycle project. The role requires interfacing with supervision, craft employees, and subcontractor supervision while driving safety, quality, and schedule adherence on a field-based assignment with travel.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years as a Superintendent/Construction Manager on similar projects, holds OSHA 10, and possesses strong leadership and project-management skills to deliver on-time performance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience as a Superintendent or Construction Manager on equivalent projects.
• Valid Driver's License. Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements.
• OSHA 10 certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitors CPM schedule compliance and tracks simple cycle project activities.
• Resolves issues with drawings, schedule, quality, quantity, cost, and safety.
• Reports progress to Construction Manager and Field Project Controls Manager.
• Maintains 3 Week Look Ahead Schedule and corrective plans for progress targets.
• Ensures material, manpower and resources are on-site to support schedules.
• Reviews timesheets and progress payments; coordinates with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Expedites communication between craft/subcontractors and Superintendents for daily/weekly planning.
