Job summary

Plains is seeking a Pipeline / Terminal Operator I to operate and maintain pipeline facilities and terminals, including tanks, LACTs, and gathering systems in field environments. The role involves safety-focused work outdoors, documentation, and coordinating with Control Center for startup/shutdown.

You will perform measurements, custody transfers, product movements, and inspections, while adhering to PHMSA and OSHA regulations and Plains safety policies. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; safety-focused with strong reading and math skills.
• Ability to read pipeline maps, technical drawings; basic computer literacy.
• Willingness to work outdoors in extreme heat/cold, and in open environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain pipeline/terminal facilities and equipment.
• Conduct measurements, custody transfers, and product movements.
• Perform tank inspections and monitor safety equipment.
• Document readings and reports; maintain logs.
• Assist with emergency response and incident reporting.
