Job summary
ONEOK, a Fortune 500 midstream leader, seeks a hands‑on Operations Technician to perform pipeline operations and maintenance in the Decatur/Bridgeport/Ponder, Texas area. Ideal candidates have field experience with pigging, startup/shutdown, leak surveys, gauging tanks, and cathodic protection.
The role involves working with compressor stations and various facilities, reporting, and adhering to safety and regulatory requirements. Relocation may be considered for the right candidate.
Qualifications
- Experience operating and maintaining pipeline systems in natural gas and liquids gathering/transmission.
- Experience with measurement, cathodic protection, and compressor/pump station operations.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and environmental regulations in pipeline work.
- Ability to read and interpret pipeline drawings and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform operations and maintenance on compressor stations, gas storages, dehydration and pumping facilities.
- Conduct startup/shutdown, pigging, gauging tanks, and line locating as needed.
- Monitor and replace lubricants, chemicals, and fluids to ensure safe operations.
- Prepare reports on gas/liquid flow, quality, and maintenance logs.
- Respond to emergencies to protect personnel and assets.
