Job summary

ONEOK Services Company LLC in Texas is seeking a field-based Pipeline Operations Technician to perform operations and maintenance on compressor stations and related facilities. You will work in a fast-paced environment, with exposure to natural gas and liquids gathering and transmission systems, and may travel to multiple sites in the Decatur/Bridgeport/Ponder area.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with pigging, startup/shutdown, gauging tanks, cathodic protection, and leak surveys.

Qualifications

Experience operating and maintaining pipeline systems and related equipment in natural gas/liquids gathering and transmission systems.
Experience in field functions including measurement, cathodic protection, and compressor/pump station operations.
Experience in maintenance and repair of equipment.
Knowledge of company and governmental operating/safety procedures and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

Perform pipeline operations and maintenance on systems including compressor stations, gas storages, dehydration facilities, pumping facilities, and measurement facilities.
Startup and shutdown, Pigging, Collecting liquids, Gauging tanks, Locating and marking lines, Monitoring cathodic protection/coatings, Leakage survey/patrolling pipelines.
Prepare information and reports including gas/liquid flow, quality, maintenance logs, samples, and corrosion activities.
