Job summary

Danos, LLC is seeking a Pipeline Locator to accurately locate and mark underground pipelines and utilities. The role supports safe excavation, protects critical infrastructure, and ensures regulatory compliance in field environments.

Responsibilities include locating assets, marking with appropriate methods, reviewing maps and blueprints, and coordinating with operations and EH&S teams. A valid license and ability to work independently are required.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Clean driving record with valid license.
• Able to read maps, drawings and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground pipelines and utilities using EM locating equipment, GPS, maps and field observations.
• Mark underground assets with paint, flags, and stakes.
• Read and respond to One-Call/811 tickets.
• Review utility maps, blueprints and as-built drawings.
• Monitor excavation and maintenance near pipelines.
• Provide safety oversight to contractors and third parties.
