Job summary

Acuren in Duluth, MN is hiring full‑time PLI Technicians to support our pipeline integrity programs. The role involves extensive fieldwork across the US with a focus on data collection, assessment, and reporting, while ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus relevant NDE certifications (Level 2). Some college and technical background are preferred, with strong QA documentation and safety awareness essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certifications in NDE (Level 2) preferred or required.
• Some college coursework is preferred for technical understanding.
• Experience in pipeline integrity or maintenance is desirable.
• Strong attention to QA documentation and safety rules required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field examinations, data review, and reporting to support integrity programs.
• Spend approximately 90% in field, 10% in home division location.
• Maintain and update pipeline integrity databases and FTP sites.
• Prepare and write pipeline integrity inspection reports; assist teammates.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and safety procedures.
• Provide on-the-job training and guidance to junior technicians.
