Job summary

Flint Hills Resources is seeking a Construction Manager/Inspector to support our Wisconsin Pipeline, Minnesota Pipeline, Wood River Pipeline, and Asphalt facilities. This field-based role works on site with contractor crews to identify and mitigate risks, review work, and ensure successful project execution across safety, schedule, and quality.

This role requires 75–90% travel with basing options in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, Illinois, or Iowa.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of pipeline construction and repair experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willing and able to travel 75–90% (including nights, weekends, and holidays).
• Must be able to meet physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction and maintenance projects according to FHR Pipeline’s and Terminal’s Technical Guidelines and applicable regulations.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and promote a positive safety culture.
• Adhere to environmental standards and environmental awareness.
• Control project cost and schedule within area of responsibility.
• Make responsible field decisions to complete the required work.
• Ensure no leaks, spills, or releases.
