Responsibilities include coordinating with field crews, verifying materials, maintaining daily reports, and ensuring proper tie-ins and meter placements. This role involves extensive travel and strict adherence to API 1169 standards and company safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must read construction prints.
• API 1169 certification and knowledge of API 1169 Body of Knowledge.
• Ability to sketch construction drawings and/or use software for construction diagrams.
• Maintain accurate project records during construction.
• Adhere to safety standards and reduce safety risk.
• Meet project deadlines and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the job, construction route and traffic flow prior to project start.
• Obtain and review maps to ensure flow of the pipe.
• Walk door to door, meeting with residential customers and address concerns prior to starting construction.
• Verify tie-in points and ensure wall thickness meets requirements with welder/corrosion staff.
• Coordinate tie-ins with construction and service departments and maintain daily progress logs.
• Audit contractor paving bills and ensure invoices reflect tasks and pipe installed.
