Job summary

Getlabs is seeking a Phlebotomy Manager to lead a mobile team across multiple states. The role focuses on supervising, mentoring, and optimizing logistics for patient care and phlebotomy operations.

You will oversee performance reviews, training, and compliance with medical protocols, while coordinating with teams to ensure efficient service delivery and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of management experience in a leadership position.
• In-depth knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities and techniques is a plus; experience with centrifuges is significant
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal; Google Suite a plus
• Public speaking abilities with business acumen to represent the company professionally
• Independent or team-oriented with reliable transportation and clean driving record
• Competency with Google applications and willingness to embrace new technology
• Ability to handle ambiguity and solve logistics and patient-care hurdles

Responsibilities

• Manage complex logistics including supply chain, distribution, appointment assignment, and routing
• Assess work performance and conduct appointment reviews for compliance, quality, and safety
• Ensure accurate recordkeeping and compliance with medical protocols
• Act as subject matter expert in phlebotomy; guide techniques and equipment including centrifuge troubleshooting
• Handle employee grievances and customer service escalations with empathetic leadership
• Administer disciplinary actions as appropriate
• Interview and hire new mobile phlebotomists; onboard new hires
• Complete new hire and annual competency assessments
• Ensure accurate order and patient appointment recordkeeping
• Lead hiring and onboarding; administer performance reviews
• Use data-driven approach to review schedules, manage budgets and approve expenses
• Handle employee concerns and grievances
• Review daily/weekly schedules and adjust as needed; assign work
• Plan and manage a budget
• Assist with day-to-day customer service and manager-level escalations
• Review and approve team timecards and expenses
• Provide coverage and travel to perform mobile phlebotomy duties

• Manage complex logistics, including supply chain, distribution, appointment assignment, and routing to ensure maximum efficiency
• Assess work performance and perform appointment reviews for compliance, quality, and safety on a regular basis; accurately report all findings
• Use your attention to detail to ensure accurate recordkeeping and compliance with all medical protocols
• Act as submit matter expert in phlebotomy; provide hands on guidance with phlebotomy techniques and technical equipment, including centrifuge troubleshooting
• Handle employee grievances and customer service escalations with empathetic leadership, turning challenging interactions into positive outcomes
• Administer disciplinary action as appropriate
• Interview and hire new mobile phlebotomists
• Effectively and efficiently onboard new hires
• Complete new hire and annual competency assessments for team
• Ensure accurate order and patient appointment recordkeeping
• Lead the interview, the hiring, and onboarding process. Administer performance reviews and disciplinary actions with a focus on professional development/growth
• Use critical thinking and data driven approach to review schedules, manage budgets and approve expenses
• Handle employee concerns and grievances
• Review daily/weekly schedules for team and make schedule adjustments as needed; organize, plan, and assign work
• Plan and manage a budget
• Assist with day-to-day customer service and manager-level escalations including interactions with patients via inbound calls, outbound calls, emails, and other communication platforms
• Review and approve team timecards and expenses
• Provide coverage and travel to perform mobile phlebotomy job duties as needed
