Job summary

Genesis Reference Laboratories is seeking a mobile phlebotomist to visit patient homes, collect blood and urine samples, and ensure safe transport to the lab. You will be the primary point of contact for patients and facilities, delivering compassionate care on every visit.

You’ll manage your own route, handle specimen labeling and documentation, and stay organized while building strong relationships with staff and patients.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of phlebotomy experience.
• Experience with elderly/LTC patients preferred.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work independently in a mobile role.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Comfortable using basic computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes to complete collections.
• Perform blood draws and urine collections.
• Label samples and maintain chain of custody.
• Use LIS system for orders and tracking.
• Transport specimens back to the lab.
• Build relationships with facility staff.
