Job summary

Intertek, a global quality and safety leader, seeks a Petroleum Inspector to travel to client sites and conduct volume, temperature measurements and sampling per client specifications in the Sulphur, LA area. This is an on-site, travel-heavy role with rigorous safety requirements.

The position requires lifting, ladder work, and on-call hours. A valid driver's license and TWIC are required, along with ability to coordinate with terminal personnel for timely inspections.

• Basic math for custody transfer calculations

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow Caleb Brett safety procedures
• Perform volume, temperature measurement and sampling per client specs
• Conduct visual inspections of lines, tanks, trucks and ships
• Complete custody transfer surveys of commodities
• Perform routine equipment calibrations and verifications
• Record and communicate results in the required media
• Coordinate with terminal and transport staff to plan inspections
• Ensure timely submission of reports and samples
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and equipment
