Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have basic mathematics skills and be able to work in an automated environment.
• Must be able to work on an on-call basis.
• No fear of heights; able to climb ladders and stairs for shore tanks.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record (required).
• Must have or be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
• Demonstrates safety practices and policies at all times.
• Able to travel as business needs dictate.
• At least 1 year of experience in petroleum inspection.

Responsibilities

• Understand and adhere to Caleb Brett safety procedures.
• Perform volume and temperature measurement, sampling, and documentation per method.
• Conduct visual inspections on lines, pumps, tanks, ships, and cars.
• Complete custody transfer surveys and ensure accuracy of results.
• Perform equipment calibration, verification, and function checks.
• Communicate results and record data accurately.
• Coordinate with terminal and company personnel to ensure smooth operations.
• Organize jobs to ensure timely submission of reports and samples.
