Job summary

PRIDE Industries is seeking a Pest Controller to manage nuisance pests and perform treatments on a federal AbilityOne contract. The role requires following label instructions, coordinating schedules, and maintaining compliance with regulations.

The position is onsite and may involve fieldwork across multiple locations. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and a Commercial Applicator certification where required by contract.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of local, state and federal pest control regulations.
• OSHA safety requirements.
• Ability to accurately record all pesticide applications.
• Computer literacy with word processing, spreadsheet, and basic web apps.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as informational and technical resource regarding pest control services to field personnel and customers.
• Determine infestation types based on observation and testing.
• Determine appropriate treatment methods and materials.
• Coordinate with Pest Control lead/manager for application schedule.
• Ensure pesticides are used per labeling and stored securely.
• May train and supervise agents working under supervision of Pest Controller.
• Maintain a database on pesticide applications per regulations.
• Handle equipment and set up spray operations as required.
