Job summary

PRIDE Industries is seeking a Pest Controller to oversee pest management activities under a federal contract. The role involves direct field work, coordinating treatments, and ensuring regulatory compliance across locations.

The position requires knowledge of pesticide regulations, OSHA safety, and accurate record-keeping. Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and a Commercial Applicator Cert, with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of local, state and federal pesticide regulations.
• Ability to accurately record pesticide applications.
• OSHA safety requirements and PPE knowledge.
• Computer literacy for word processing, spreadsheets and web apps.
• Effective oral and written communication with vendors and customers.
• Ability to interact with clients and maintain positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Informational and technical resource for pest control services to field personnel and customers.
• Determine infestation types based on observation or testing.
• Select appropriate treatment methods and materials.
• Coordinate with Pest Control lead/manager for schedules.
• Ensure pesticides are used per labeling and stored securely.
• Train and supervise agents if required.
• Maintain pesticide application records per regulations.
• Move and use equipment and traps for treatments.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
