Job summary

PRIDE Industries is seeking a Pest Controller to oversee management of nuisance pests and related health and structural pests on a federal AbilityOne contract. The role requires adherence to regulatory guidelines, accurate pesticide record-keeping, and safe handling of materials in field settings.

Work is onsite across multiple locations, with responsibilities ranging from field supervision to potential training of staff.

Qualifications

Knowledge of local, state, and federal pest control regulations.
OSHA safety requirements familiarity.
Ability to accurately record pesticide applications.
Computer literacy for word processing and spreadsheets.
Effective written and verbal communication; able to respond to questions.

Responsibilities

Serve as an informational and technical resource for pest control to field personnel and customers.
Determine infestation types based on observation or testing.
Select appropriate treatment methods and materials.
Coordinate with Pest Control lead/manager for schedules.
Ensure pesticides are used per labeling and safely stored.
May train and supervise agents under Pest Controller.
Maintain a pest application records database per regulations.
Operate and maintain spray equipment and related tools.
Move and set traps as required; clean/prepare areas for treatment.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
