Job summary

PRIDE Industries is seeking a Pest Controller to manage nuisance pests under a federal AbilityOne contract. You will oversee chemical and trap-based treatments, coordinate schedules, and ensure compliance with labeling and safety standards.

Under broad supervision, you may work at multiple locations, requires Commercial Applicator Cert and a valid driver's license, with non-exempt status and strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of local, state and federal pest control regulations.
• OSHA safety requirements and PPE use.
• Ability to record all pesticide applications accurately.
• Basic computer skills for word processing and data entry.
• Strong written and verbal communication with vendors and customers.
• Professional interaction with clients and teams to maintain positive relations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical resource regarding pest control to field personnel and customers.
• Determine infestation types based on observation or testing.
• Choose appropriate treatment methods and materials.
• Coordinate with Pest Control lead/manager/site manager for schedules.
• Ensure pesticides are used per labeling and stored securely.
• May train or supervise agents and maintain application records.
• Operate spray equipment and maintain cleanup as needed.
