Job summary

Clark Pest Control in California is seeking ambitious Pest Service Technicians to service homes and protect environments from pests. You will work outdoors, independently, on residential routes with autonomy and accountability, following safety practices and company standards.

The role involves inspecting structures, treating pests, coordinating with branch staff, handling paperwork, and building customer relationships.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No experience required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to obtain pesticide license within 90 days (company paid).
• Ability to work in the field independently and manage route-based assignments.

Responsibilities

• Controlling pests, weeds, lawn fertilization, tree/shrub care and other agricultural pests on-site in residential accounts.
• Inspecting residential structures to determine presence of pests and severity of infestations and damage.
• Creating diagrams and graphs indicating infestation type, degree and location.
• Discussing work with customers and providing sales solicitations.
• Coordinating with department staff and submitting paperwork and collections daily.
• Performing administrative tasks including ordering equipment, compiling reports, and calling clients.
• Determining costs, estimating crew time and scheduling work.
• Receiving and accounting for company funds collected during business activities.
• Maintaining company equipment and vehicle in a clean, safe condition.
