Job summary

Terminix is seeking a field-based Innovation/Utility Specialist to perform pest control, TAP insulation installation, and light construction tasks. You will interact with residential and commercial clients, install exclusion traps, and ensure safety and quality in every job.

The role requires working in various spaces, lifting up to 50 pounds, and adhering to safety protocols while delivering high-quality service in the local climate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Successfully pass pre-employment background screen.
• Valid driver’s license and motor vehicle report check (Company vehicle and gas card provided).
• Available to work Monday–Friday and Saturdays as needed.
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills; able to present information clearly.
• Licenses/certificates as required by regulations (covered by us).
• Customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pest control inspections and services for residential and commercial clients; install and maintain termite control systems.
• Install TAP insulation and manage job-site preparations and clean-up.
• Assist with light construction repairs related to pest damage.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain services and pest-control measures.
• Perform exclusion services and wildlife removal; set up and maintain exclusion traps; follow safety protocols.
• Stay updated on industry trends and participate in training.
