Job summary

Terminix, a Rentokil company, is seeking Pest Control Consultants to sell residential pest control services while delivering customer-focused service in the Sacramento area. You will assess homeowners' needs and present solutions that protect homes and families, guiding them through installation and ongoing maintenance with a strong emphasis on trust and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license from your state of residence.
• Strong social, customer service, and communication skills; related sales experience is a plus.
• Prefer 1–2 years of pest technician or sales experience.
• Travel up to 100% of time within assigned territory(s).

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect homes for pests and sell pest control solutions and maintenance to residential customers.
• Collaborate with Customer Service Center, Inside Sales, and Technicians for opportunities.
• Develop proposals for customers to resolve pest issues and propose enhancements to services.
• Complete Home diagram using Sales CRM to ensure understanding of the home and challenges.
• Follow up on past proposals to close sales opportunities.
• Provide expert knowledge for new service installations to ensure satisfactory completion.
• Record daily activities and sales performance in the Sales CRM.
