Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Permission Planner to join our field team. You will coordinate access, obtain permissions from property owners, and help schedule vegetation management near high‑voltage facilities.

The role requires strong communication with homeowners, businesses, and local government, plus GIS map reading, driving a company vehicle, and using MS Excel for scheduling. Travel between job sites is common; valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• 3 years arboricultural, horticultural, or vegetation-related experience OR a 2- or 4-year degree in a related subject.
• Experience with Utility Vegetation Management is preferred.
• ISA/CTSP/OSHA certifications are a plus; ISA Certified Arborist preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License; CDL a plus.

Responsibilities

• Discuss access, power interruption, and required work with customers or property owners.
• Address responsibility for visible property damage and coordinate repairs or refer disputes.
• Frequently travel between job sites to support vegetation management.
• Provide customer service and scheduling with homeowners, businesses, and local government.
• Obtain oral or written permission from property owners to trim or remove trees near high-voltage facilities.
