Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Permission Planner to coordinate access and approvals for vegetation work near high-voltage facilities. You will interact with property owners, schedule field activities, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires GIS reading, client communication, and the ability to travel between job sites. A strong background in arboriculture or related studies plus certifications is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 years of arboricultural, horticultural, or vegetation-related experience OR a 2-year or 4-year degree in a related subject.
• Experience with Utility Vegetation Management is preferred.
• ISA/CTSP/OSHA-30 certifications are a plus.
• Must have valid driver's license with ability to drive company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Discuss access, power interruption, and required work with the customer or property owner.
• Addresses responsibility for visible property damage and handles repairs for minor damage, referring disputed cases to the General Foreperson.
• Frequently travels between job sites as required.
• Performs Customer Service and scheduling: Daily interaction with homeowners, businesses, and local government.
• Obtains oral or written permission from property owners to trim or remove trees and apply herbicides near high-voltage electric facilities.
