Job summary

Knights of Columbus is seeking a Field Management leader to support and oversee the agency force in the Midwest region (MI, IL, OH, IN, WI). You will guide General Agents and staff to meet four pillars: Production, Manpower, Applications, and IARs, while maintaining strong service and compliance with company policies.

You will recruit, mentor, and motivate field teams, coordinate with RAEC, and ensure consistent counsel and growth across agencies.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of insurance operations, policies, and processes.
  • Customer service oriented with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Significant management ability.
  • Time management and prioritization of work; attention to detail.
  • Experience in complaint resolution.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills to support multi-tasking.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the activities of the assigned agencies in person, regularly to ensure achievement of four pillars: Production, Manpower, Applications, IARs.
  • Direct, support, motivate, and manage General Agents, AGAs, FAs and staff with RAEC for the region.
  • Lead and coach agency teams to meet KPIs and growth targets.

Overview

Assists and supports Field Management in the administration and operations of the Field Force in the region (Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin).

Oversees, directs, leads, and motivates the General Agents and their staff of Assistant General Agents, Field Agents, and clerical assistants in achieving their goals and meeting key performance indicators for their agencies.

Core Responsibilities

Manages the activities of the assigned agencies in person, on a regular basis, to ensure achievement of the Four established Pillars by offering consistent counsel and motivation focused on growth of the Four Pillars: Production-Manpower-Applications- IAR’s.

Activities include (but not limited to) directing, supporting, motivating, and managing General Agents, AGAs, FAs and administrative assistant support staff in conjunction with the RAEC for assigned region.

Skills Qualifications
  • Understanding of insurance operations, policies, and processes.
  • Must be customer service oriented with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Significant Management ability.
  • Time management and prioritization of work; attention to detail.
  • Experience in complaint resolution.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills to support multi- tasking.
Education
  • BS or BA degree in a related field.
  • 8 years related work experience in life insurance administration.
  • Insurance professional education (e.g., FIC, FLMI and CLU) desirable.
