Knights of Columbus in New Haven, CT is seeking a Staff Auditor to perform internal audits of life insurance products using IIA Global Standards. You will participate in planning, testing, and reporting with business partners and control owners.
The role requires 1–3 years of audit experience, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, and professional designation (CIA/CPA) is a plus. The organization offers a comprehensive benefits package and a salary range in Connecticut.
The Staff Auditor will perform internal audits of life insurance products through a systematic and disciplined approach based on the Institute of Internal Auditor’s Global Standards. Depending on experience, individuals will learn to apply audit methodology to all phases of the audit life cycle from planning to reporting.
Required:
The wage range for this role takes into account a broad array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The range below applies as long as the work is performed in Connecticut; the Knights of Columbus reserves the right to adjust the wage range if the position is performed in another location. At the Knights of Columbus, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $70,500 - $120,000.
