Job summary

AT&T in Sherman Oaks, California is seeking Outside Plant Technicians to perform heavy physical work, install and maintain outside plant cable facilities, and read schematics. You will use hand tools and testing equipment, load tools into the company vehicle, and coordinate with teams to ensure safety and service continuity.

Starting earnings range from $17 to $51 per hour, influenced by geography, experience and training.

Qualifications

• Performs heavy physical labor and lifting.
• Interprets complex schematic drawings to determine work sequence.
• Uses hand tools and testing equipment for field tasks.

Responsibilities

• Load tools and materials into Company vehicle.
• Perform construction operations for outside plant facilities.
• Drive to work locations and coordinate with teams.
• Comply with safety standards and DOT requirements.
• Climb non-stepped poles using climbers when required.
