Job summary

TDS Telecommunications LLC is looking for an Outside Plant Line Maintenance and Construction II to perform general labor for outside plant line maintenance. Responsibilities include operating construction equipment, maintaining and repairing cable facilities, and performing line repairs in various weather conditions. Candidates must have 1+ years of construction experience and telecommunications outside plant experience. A valid driver's license is required, and candidates must reside within 60 minutes of North Anson, Maine. The role offers a pay range of $25.13/hr to $37.69/hr.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of construction experience utilizing construction equipment.
• Must follow attendance guidelines to meet business needs.
• Must successfully pass Safety Training course.

Responsibilities

• Perform general line maintenance in various weather conditions.
• Operate construction and excavating equipment.
• Repair and replace aerial and buried cable.

Skills

Construction equipment operation (trencher, plow, backhoe)

Telecommunications outside plant experience

Ability to dig, lift, and climb

Organizational skills

Education

Valid driver's license

Class A CDL (preferred, can be trained)
