Job summary

Uniti, a premier telecom provider, is seeking an Outside Plant Engineer for Kinetic in the U.S. You will connect customers to fiber and copper networks and design outside plant facilities across markets. Travel up to 25% and split time between field and office.

Ideal candidates hold an engineering degree with 2–4 years of related experience and CAD/MicroStation/AutoCAD expertise. This role supports nationwide network growth and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Engineering or related field degree required.
• 2-4 years professional engineering/technical experience, or 6+ years experience.
• Ability to travel up to 25% overnight.

Responsibilities

• Engineer/design outside plant facilities including fiber and copper.
• Plan, analyze, design and engineer outside plant network structures.
• Organize complex activities for development, construction, implementation, and maintenance of projects.
• Apply sound engineering practices to resolve issues.
• Communicate effectively to drive projects to completion.
• Field 70% and office 30% of the time, varies by market.
