Job summary

Uniti Group Inc. seeks an Outside Plant Engineer for Kinetic to design and engineer fiber and copper networks across the United States.

You will analyze data, solve complex problems, and build long-term relationships with customers and partners while supporting field and office projects. Responsibilities include field-heavy work (about 70%) with design and planning in the office, cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring cost-effective use of materials and labor.

Qualifications

• College degree in Engineering or related field and 0-2 years’ experience
• Or 4+ years of professional engineering/technical experience
• Safety sensitive position; valid driver’s license required

Responsibilities

• Engineer/design outside plant facilities including fiber and copper
• Plan, analyze, design, and engineer outside plant network structures
• Coordinate development, construction, implementation, and maintenance projects
• Communicate effectively to establish and maintain relationships and drive projects to completion
• 75% field / 25% office balance; travel up to 25% may be required
