Job summary

NRTC Broadband Solutions is seeking an OSP Inspector to secure units placed by contractors per design plans. The role requires working outside in all weather conditions and recording activities in a dedicated inspector journal.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of related experience and a background in construction or OSP engineering, with strong communication and Safety compliance skills. Position is based in Minnesota and involves travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Typically 1–3 related years of experience.
• Specialized training includes construction experience or OSP engineering.

Responsibilities

• Follow OSHA/State/Local safety standards.
• Record daily activities in the inspector journal.
• Identify unsafe actions by contractors and report to the supervisor.
• Provide guidance on engineered construction prints.
• Generate As-Built records, by hand or digital format.
• Identify and record deficiencies.
• Communicate corrective actions to subcontractors.
• Review traffic control patterns and signs; ensure proper PPE.
