Job summary

Tallgrass is offering 10-week internships in 2026 in our field office. You’ll work with Operations Specialists and Technicians, gaining hands-on experience in installation, operation, and maintenance of pipelines, compressors, and related equipment, including electrical and control systems.

You’ll learn I&M checks, data collection, safety practices, and contribute to site procedures; the program includes mentorship and exposure to real-world projects, with outdoor and field work year-round.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; enrolled in a technical program is a plus.
• Experience with MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint) is preferred.
• Willingness to learn measurement and control equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist operations specialists and technicians in installing, operating, and maintaining pipelines and related equipment.
• Support preventative maintenance checks on engines, turbines, pumps, and related systems.
• Learn electrical, measurement, and control integrity concepts and participate in safety programs.
• Contribute to documenting procedures and work plans for site activities.
• Support record-keeping and compliance across field operations.
