Tallgrass is offering a 2026 internship in field operations, performed in our on-site field office. You will work with Operations Specialists and Technicians to gain hands-on experience in pipeline installation, operation, and maintenance, plus electrical and control systems learnings.

You will perform preventative maintenance, learn safety procedures, and participate in documentation and record-keeping while developing practical skills in a challenging energy environment.

Formación

• High School Diploma required or currently pursuing a relevant technical program.
• Actively enrolled or recently completed (within 3 months) a technical or associate degree program related to mechanics, energy, construction, industrial electrician, or related fields.
• Experience using MS Office applications (Excel, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to perform basic repairs and routine maintenance with appropriate tools.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and maintain pipelines, compressors, engines, turbines, motors, cooling equipment, pump stations, pumps, dehydration equipment, valves, seals, and related equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance checks and assist in diagnosing and repairing engines, turbines, pumps, seals, valves, and instruments.
• Learn and support electrical, measurement, and control integrity tasks including design, installation, inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Participate in safety programs and help develop Operations & Maintenance Procedures and work plans.
• Assist with documentation and record-keeping for field activities.
