Job summary

Tallgrass offers a 2026 internship in our field office for 10 weeks (May–August). You will work with Operations Specialists and Technicians to gain hands-on experience in installing, operating, and maintaining pipelines and related equipment, including electrical and control systems.

Interns participate in safety programs, documentation, and real-world project work, building skills in maintenance, troubleshooting, and data reporting while exploring career paths in energy infrastructure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Actively enrolled or recently completed (within 3 months) a relevant technical or associate degree program (e.g., Mechanics, Energy, Construction, Industrial Electrician, Electromechanical, Measurement, or other Electrical programs).
• Experience using MS Office applications (Excel, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Learn installation, operation, and maintenance of pipelines and related equipment.
• Assist with electrical and control systems tasks alongside specialists.
• Support safety programs and help develop site procedures and work plans.
• Document activities and maintain records as required.
