Job summary

EnerVest is seeking an Operator I - Production in Sonora, TX to monitor and control oil and gas equipment, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance with limited supervision. Responsibilities include testing wells, documenting equipment performance, and reporting spills or incidents to supervision.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and basic computer/SCADA skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Experience in a similar oil/gas role preferred.
• Basic computer and SCADA controller familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Tests and monitors oil and gas wells using proper procedures.
• Identifies deficiencies and recommends corrections to procedures.
• Performs routine inspections and maintenance of equipment.
• Maintains records of equipment performance and incidents.
• Reports spills and accidents to supervisor.
• Operates company vehicles and lease equipment for 8–12 hours per day.
• Other duties as assigned.
