Qualifications

• Completed secondary education.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• High standard of safety, health and environmental aptitude.
• Extensive knowledge of pipeline operations.
• Extensive knowledge of safety and operations management tools and processes.
• Strong knowledge of Emergency Preparedness Procedures.
• Extensive knowledge of Project Philosophy and Design Specifications.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations.
• Knowledge of relevant commercial agreements.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and wells by applying operating and safety procedures and guidelines to meet the daily operational plan.
• Participate in daily toolbox meetings and safety meetings.
• Identify and implement corrective and optimization actions through continuous surveillance of wells and equipment.
• Perform basic maintenance activities as an Equipment Care Technician.
• Report when alarm or emergency systems are out of service.
• Provide detailed, clear information at shift change so operations continue without interruption.
• Coordinate and monitor maintenance jobs according to planning.
• Record all relevant operational events and deviations in the log book.
• Take product samples for laboratory analysis and field tests.
• Participate in emergency response activities.
• Report incidents per Incident Reporting Guidelines.
