Responsibilities

Help monitor oil field facilities and support safer, more informed operations from the control room. You’ll focus on identifying gas and liquid leaks across facilities—work that directly supports effective field monitoring and response.

Overview

We’re seeking a Control Room Oil Field Operator for a position based in Spring, TX. This role centers on monitoring facilities for gas and liquid leaks.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor facilities. Implement daily work objectives, housekeeping, safety, health, environmental and security
• Active participation in daily toolbox meetings and regular reported safety meetings.
• Watch for gas leaks across monitored oil field facilities.
• Monitor for liquid leaks across monitored oil field facilities.
• Report continuously in the log book all relevant operation events and abnormal situations or deviation occurred in the work areas, equipment or personnel.
• Ensure that well problem diagnostics are thorough and complete before requesting Well Work intervention operations.
• Take samples of products for laboratory analysis and execute field laboratory tests.
• Ensure that the wellhead and well surface equipment are maintained and are in good working order prior to Wellwork operations, taking over responsibility for the well for intervention operations.
• Maintain focused control room coverage throughout the assigned 14/14 rotation.

Must-Have

• Completed secondary education and worked previously as a Field Technician.
• High standards of Safety, Health, Environment aptitude and cultivates the same in others. Extensive knowledge of safety and operations management tools and processes.
• Extensive knowledge of and/or experience of pipeline operations.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations.
• Knowledge of relevant commercial agreements.
• Availability to work a 14/14 rotation.
• Ability to perform control room monitoring focused on gas and liquid leaks.
• Ability to work from the Spring, TX location.
