Qualifications

• Completed secondary education.
• Experience as Lease Operator in field environments.

Job Title:

Field Operator II

1 year initially with possibility of extension

Schedule:

9/5 rotation, 6:30-5pm, 30 min lunch

Location:

Midland, TX

This opportunity is focused on safe and efficient field operations, supporting wells and equipment through continuous surveillance, operational monitoring, and maintenance coordination. The role plays an important part in maintaining reliable production, supporting emergency response activities, and ensuring strong communication across operations teams. This position is well suited to candidates with experience in pipeline operations, safety management processes, and field-based operational environments.

Required Education

• Completed secondary education.

Required Experience

• Previous experience working as a Lease Operator
• Experience operating equipment and wells in a field-based operational environment.
• Experience supporting maintenance activities, including corrective, predictive, and preventive work planning.
• Experience identifying well or equipment issues and supporting reliable and safe operating conditions.

Required Skills

• Must live in Midland, TX and in a 50-mile radius from Midland
• Strong knowledge of pumpers, gas lift, ESP, and plungers.
• Strong knowledge of safety and operations management tools and processes.
• Broad knowledge of emergency preparedness procedures.
• Strong knowledge of project philosophy and design specifications.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and commercial agreements.
• Ability to monitor wells and equipment, report abnormal situations, and maintain accurate operational records.
• Ability to take product samples, perform field laboratory tests, and provide clear operational updates during shift handover.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High standard of safety, health, and environmental awareness.
