Job summary

84 Lumber is seeking a Field Operations Manager to join a full-time, entry-level management track focused on store operations with a clear path to leadership within the company.

Initial training at the home location lasts 2–3 months, followed by nationwide travel to support store operations. Travel will be 95%+ of time, with assignments typically lasting 5–12 days each, managed by the Travel Department.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED-equivalent.
• Availability: Full-time schedule (48+ hours/week).
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Supporting product handling and retail sales operations.
• Freight handling, forklift operation and certification.
• Managing merchandising, inventory control, and reduction initiatives.
• Creating material estimates from blueprints.
• Assisting with special projects to address staffing and operational needs.
