Job summary

Williams is seeking an Operations Technician to support pipeline operations and safely maintain facility equipment. You will read drawings, analyze data, and ensure adherence to permits and safety standards across sites.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma with 3+ years in a similar role; associate degree and 2+ years in oil & gas are preferred. Willingness to work variable shifts and travel as needed is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, plus 3 years as an operations technician or similar role.
• Preferred: Associate's degree or technical diploma and 2+ years multifaceted operations technician experience in oil and gas.
• Must be able to work after hours, travel between Williams locations, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Performs tasks to safely maintain equipment and support pipeline operations, including reading/interpreting drawings and inspecting equipment.
• Conducts data analysis and collaborates to resolve technical/operational problems.
• Follows company policies and applies operating and maintenance procedures.
• Adheres to safety requirements for safe facility operation and asset protection.
• Maintains knowledge of site/equipment permits and compliance.
• Completes reports/logs and maintains records of operations and preventative maintenance.
