Job summary

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED required.
• Experience in a chemical manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must be able to climb ladders and work at significant heights.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds; both to carry and to lift overhead.
• Must be able to wear a respirator.
• Must be able to enter confined spaces.
• Must be a highly motivated, team player and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate the plant and process equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform operations tasks including raw material charges, equipment preparation, and process samples.
• Input RTPM codes into the control system in real time.
• Perform lockout/tagout and Safe Work Permits when required.
• Contribute to improvements in operating discipline and procedures.
