Job Overview
The position works with Sales Account Representatives on executing service plans in strategic Company accounts. Involves the completion of agreed-upon contractual services in the assigned accounts and providing customers with problem solving support. The position actively installs, maintains, and calibrates chemical feed equipment and process monitoring equipment at multiple customer locations. Additional responsibilities include performing shop duties such as equipment assembly, maintenance, and organization in accordance with 5S principles. The role also involves the fabrication and assembly of custom-built chemical feed skids to support customer system requirements.
Job Duties:
- Abides by all safety procedures and practices applicable to location and position; participates in appropriate safety training; demonstrates commitment to and support of EH&S principles and values; champions safety as necessary
- Performs other duties assigned by management that fall within the generally expected scope of this position
- Provides routine service support to Sales Account Representatives in strategic accounts to execute agreed upon customer system assurance plans
- Assists Sales Account Representatives with start-ups of new applications in both existing customers and in new accounts
- Provides technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer pain points, escalating as required
- Obtains customer samples for analysis
- Installs, calibrates and maintains chemical feed equipment and process monitoring equipment at assigned customer accounts
- Rigging-up and rigging-down of operation equipment which can include high-pressure iron and hose connections.
- Writes and reviews technically sound recommendations
- Manages internal resources necessary to support the business
- Completes training as required following the Company's learning development system and processes.
- Practices safe driving procedures when traveling to and from locations
Requirements:
- Must have High school diploma or equivalent education. An associate degree or Trade School Certification is preferred.
- Must have a strong, demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
- Must have a satisfactory driver record with no DWI/DUI convictions in the past three years or any current DWI/DUI charges.
- Able to lift up / carry up to 60lbs.
- Able to pass background, physical and drug screen.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- Able to understand and carry out routine oral and written instructions.
- Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Able to accommodate a flexible work schedule, long workdays, and/or irregular work hours, be on-call with short notice and exposed to extreme weather conditions.
- 25% overnight travel required to support assigned customer accounts after training has been completed ( 6 months to 1 year).
- Maintains effecting working relationships with other employees.
- Practical computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn internal business systems) preferred.
