Job summary

United Utility Services is seeking a Field Operations Supervisor to plan, coordinate, and oversee day-to-day field survey operations in New Orleans, LA (or Spring, TX). You will lead multi-disciplinary teams (Ground Survey, UAS, GPR), ensure safety and data quality, and manage logistics and schedules.

Responsibilities include field data capture, equipment readiness, staff hiring/training coordination, and collaboration with Geospatial Solutions to support project delivery.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Geomatics, Surveying, Geography, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• FAA Part 107 Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise field teams including GPR Technicians, Survey Technicians, UAS Pilots, and Field Survey Data Processing Analysts.
• Provide day-to-day direction, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure safety, productivity, and growth.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training for new field staff, reinforcing safety standards and expectations.
• Foster a safety-first culture with hazard recognition, stop-work authority, and incident reporting.
• Coordinate logistics for travel, lodging, and mobilization/demobilization of field crews as needed.
