Job summary

Nabors is seeking an ETX Field Service Supervisor I (Finance) to lead domestic mechanical and electrical field service operations, coordinating technicians, equipment readiness, and safety compliance. The role supports Nabors' internal Operations division across the district and requires strong organizational and communication skills.

The position demands five years in oil and gas, Canrig/Nabors experience, and the ability to travel as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience in the oil and gas field.
• Minimum of two years of experience working with Canrig/Nabors equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to prepare timely, accurate reports and complete required service documentation.
• Experience using database software and manufacturing or inventory management systems.
• Ability to raise concerns constructively while maintaining credibility and professionalism.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills with flexible hours for field operations.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and related service documentation.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to remain effective and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong working knowledge of networking concepts and equipment.
• Working knowledge of electronics as applied to oilfield instrumentation.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and direct domestic mechanical and electrical field service technicians and required parts.
• Provide direct supervision and support to assigned technicians.
• Manage interviews, hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Communicate with internal Operations stakeholders for updates and issue resolution.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems with teams.
• Support installation and service activities for Canrig equipment as required.
• Ensure safety programs and documentation requirements are followed.
• Complete all required Nabors training and keep team up to date.
• Travel to operational locations to support field operations.
• Maintain communication with drilling rigs after moves to support satisfaction.
• Provide 24-hour field service coverage for rig systems within the district.
• Complete reports and service documentation in a timely manner.
• Coordinate on-call maintenance technicians for after-hours service.
• Visit drilling rigs to support objectives and Nabors business plan.
• Identify opportunities to install additional systems on rigs and upgrade components.
• Coordinate internal operations support through the Maintenance Manager.
• Present and demonstrate maintenance services professionally.
• Use company technology to support operations and communication.
• Promote efficiency and cost control in delivering services.
