Job summary

Clark Holdings Inc. is seeking an Assistant Superintendent for Jacksonville, FL. This full-time, on-site role coordinates field operations, ensures work aligns with project schedules, and enforces safety and quality controls.

You will supervise subcontractors, manage budgets, and optimize equipment use on active job sites. The ideal candidate has 3–6 years of construction management experience, with an undergraduate degree preferred and familiarity with Procore, PlanGrid, and P6.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or related discipline preferred but not required.
• 3 to 6 years of construction management experience in a field supervisory role.
• Ability to direct the work of others including subcontractors and suppliers.
• Working knowledge of scheduling, contract administration, equipment, manpower, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate installation of work per contract documents and project schedule.
• Maintain knowledge of contract scope for assigned areas or trades.
• Understand activity durations and plan accordingly.
• Plan equipment use and ensure timely material deliveries.
• Supervise field workforce and monitor budgets; identify cost remedies.
• Implement and enforce safety programs; conduct inspections per OSHA standards.
• Build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Develop relationships with industry professionals to win work.
• Support recruitment and retention of top talent for Clark Construction.
