Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a qualified professional to support daily field operations and promote safe, quality execution on projects in New Jersey. You will help coordinate field teams, manage prefabrication coordination, and contribute to project documentation and reporting to enable informed decision-making by leadership.

The role requires an Associate degree in construction management or related field and 5 years of field engineering or construction management experience, plus OSHA 30/First

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in construction management, engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience required.
• 5 years of experience in field engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification preferred; OSHA 30-Hour cert within 6 months of hire required.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.
• OSHA 510 or OSHA 500 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports the management and development of a team of field operations individuals, fostering skill growth and ensuring quality performance under guidance.
• Supervises daily site activities and applies sound judgment in implementing quality control measures, resolving routine issues and supporting solutions to unique field challenges to ensure compliance with project plans and safety protocols.
• Manages coordination of delivery and allocation of materials and equipment to support uninterrupted workflow.
• Monitors accurate daily logs and progress reports to document project activities and issues.
• Communicates routine updates and concerns to project leadership, enabling timely resolution of challenges.
• Participates in or leads safety meetings and site inspections to reinforce a culture of accountability.
• Supports field teams, including self-perform, in addressing routine operational issues and escalates more complex matters as needed.
